classification-- draft 1

The beneficial friends in three kinds

The term “friend” refers to the subject of one's acquaintances to whom the friend criteria apply. Friend criteria vary from individual to individual and are by no means universal within a given demographic group. The consequences of membership of the friend set (also known as friendship bonuses) also vary. As Confucius said: beneficial friends can be divided into 3 main categories. They are friends who are righteous, honest and knowledgeable.

First, let's talk about friends who are righteous. Friends are important in our life. At school, friends study and hang out together. Some living minutia will affect us a lot. If you met a harmful friend, it can affect us in a very serious position. For example, if you have friends who are deceitful, then you start to be deceitful, too. In contrast, if you have friends who behave rightful, you will be the same with them either. Your friends who are righteous, it will affect you into the good behavior.

Second, we all knew that honest is the best policy. Honesty is the human quality of communicating and acting truthful and with fairness. It also include credit, consideration and catholic. This kind of friend will make you feel ease and comfortable, they won't cheat you, they'll like your family member. Credit is the same important. It's the way to get alone with your friends.

The last one, to have friends who are knowledgeable is advantages to ourselves. You can learn from friends, gain more knowledge during asking them about their thought and talking. These friends have morality, keep themselves in the higher standard; they ask themselves to do better, to try harder. Day in and day out, you'll have the same quality to them.

Nowadays, to connect with people is much frequency. If you want to live alone, that will be very difficult, because we live in the groups in the world. Everyday there are many strangers, relatives and friends learning together, but who really can concern you and have close personality are rarely. According to what Confucius said, we should choose our friends from the three categories.

In-Class Assignment

The emotion of love
Many people might have a questionin their mind, that is what is the love? Let's find the definition through the dictionary. It says that Love is a profound feeling of tender affection for or intense attraction to another. Love is described as a deep, ineffable feeling shared in passionate or intimate interpersona relationships. What's that kind of feeling? To tell you the truth, it's hard to difine it. Also, it's also hard to separate it into a good or bad emotion. The only thing we can make sure of it is that we all live under LOVE. What kinds of love? There are many kinds of love. Love relates to your parents, brothers and sisters, teachers, and friends. Those make you live under your parent's love, sibling's love, teacher's love, and the love fom friends. Easily to say, love is around us. Only need us to spend time to discover it, isn't it? At last, I would like to share a quote from Emily Dickinson: Love is anterior to Life, Posterior to Death, Initial of Creation, and the Exponent of Earth.

Description-- Final 2

My room-mate Phoebe
Have you ever had an ideal companion in your whole life? I'm sure everyone might have one or more good partners in life. Luckily I found my nice partner in Southern Taiwan University of Technology. She is my room-mate. Her name is Phoebe, and Chinese name is Szu Hang. It is a great pleasure to know more about her and be her good friend. Next on is the interview with Phoebe at S.T.U.T. in the Sixth Dorm on October 20th, 2006.

Phoebe comes from a family of 4 people. It includes her parents, a younger sister and her. Her father is a retired soldier. Housekeeping is her mother's job. And her sister is a high school student, studying in the second year. Her hobbies are reading, shopping, and investing. She is a quick-reader. She'll read novels as much time as she has. That's why I think reading a lot makes her become a quick-reader. Shopping is also her favorite leisure activity. Sometimes she'll let me see some advertising brochures from famous department stores and we will discuss it together. Also, she desires to know everything about investment. She is like an analyst knowing what is cheaper or more expensive, and she can tell you which item should be better to choose and which will save your money. On the other hand, she had a burning desire to know everything about I.T.I (International Trading Institution) because she said that she hopes to work for the foreign companies in the future.

After the interview with this lovely girl, I think Phoebe is step by step reaching her goal. We have many things in common, like shopping, watching the movie, and so on. We are the best room-mates in school, and also good companions in the future.

Actually, we were from the same school but in different class at our previous school, but until now I know clearly about her. I hope we can be good friends, partners, and also room-mates in the future.
