Compare and contrast-- draft one
Comparatives between small grocery stores and large supermarkets
Where can we get our daily needs around our life? Some might say in grocery stores, others might say in supermarkets. Well, small grocery stores and large supermarket stores can be different from the following three points. We can tell the difference from price, service and food.
First, let’s see the difference from the price. The price in grocery stores can be bargained. I think everyone have the same experience as I had. For example, if you buy some candies, the boss will give you the extra candies for the same prize, even not for candies, vegetables are the same. In contrasts with the grocery stores, price in supermarkets are unitary. The price showed on the lable is constant, and so do the amount of the things you buy. Such as, if you buy a bag of candy, six in a bag, and you can only get six candies, not for any extras.
Second, service in grocery stores is warm and friendly. The people in grocery stores are always kind, they chat with you just like a neighbor front your own house. On the other hand, the service in supermarkets are cold. They greet with costemers in boring and straitlaced greeting, like a stranger.
Third, food in grocery stores are fresh. For example, they sell the vegetables or fruits that they just harvest from the begetter; otherwise to the supermarkets, the food there are not so fresh but they have more multiple choise.
In conclusion, grocery stores and supermarkets are the place we get daily needs. It's hard to tell which one is better. It depends on how you feel when buying things and your favorite style to buy it.
