Compare and contrast-- draft two
Comparison between small grocery stores and large supermarkets
Where can we get our daily needs around our life? Some people might say in grocery stores, and others might say in supermarkets. Well, small grocery stores and large supermarket stores can be different in the following three points: price, service and food.First, let’s see the difference from the price. The price in grocery stores can be bargained. I think everyone had the same experience as I had. For example, if you buy some candies, the boss will give you the extra candies in the same price. Even not for candies, vegetables are the same. In contrast, you can not bargan the price with the clerk in the supermarkets. For instance, if you buy a bag of candy, six in a bag, and you can only get six candies, not for any extras.
Second, service in grocery stores is warm and friendly. The clerk in grocery stores are always kind, they chat with you just like a neighbor. On the other hand, the service in supermarkets is cold. They greet to costemers in boring and straitlaced greetings, just like a stranger.
Third, food in grocery stores is fresh. For example, they sell the vegetables or fruits that they just harvest from the begetter; on the conrary, the food in the supermarkets are frozen but they have more multiple choices.
In conclusion, grocery stores and supermarkets are the places we get daily needs. It's hard to tell which one is better. It depends on how you feel and your favorite style when you are shopping.
